Part of the Essex Collection, this ashtray is a replica of a shell my mother found on a walk at Crane’s Beach in Massachusetts. It’s cast in bronze or aluminum at a foundry in Los Angeles, then polished by hand.
Bronze warms with age, and aluminum stays light.
